 a drunk man interacts with the bishop and gave him what he thought of life he said thye should be living life to the fullest and not worrying about anything else he does not believe in good evil heaven or god and when its your turn to die you die. that made the bishop extremly mad and after the drunk man stoped talking he started clapping lol

 This chapter made me realize how much of a good person M.Myriel is he is selfless and care about the other people and n ot only himself he even let the hospital take the sick into his house and yet people think he only thinks about himself .
